Pemex evacuates personnel as Jupiter Flotel sinks in the Gulf of Mexico

State run Pemex has evacuated staff from the Jupiter Flotel, a semisubmersible living quarters platform located in theMexican waters of the gulf of Mexico. The Jupiter Flotel began listing heavily and is now sinking.

Influenza activity remained at low levels in Ireland during week 14 2011. The sentinel GP influenza-like illness (ILI) consultation rate was once again decreased compared to the rate of week 13 2011. ILI rates remain below baseline levels and are low in all age groups . No new outbreaks of influenza/ILI have been reported since week 5 2011. As of 13th April 2011, 14 influenza/ILI outbreaks have been reported this season.

During week 13 2011 Influenza activity remained at low levels in Ireland. The sentinel GP influenza-like illness (ILI) consultation rate was decreased compared to the rate of week 12 2011. ILI rates remain below baseline levels and are low in all age groups. No confirmed influenza cases were admitted to hospital during week 13 2011. No confirmed influenza cases have been admitted to ICU since February 17th 2011. No new outbreaks of influenza/ILI have been reported since week 5 2011.

Influenza activity remained at low levels in Ireland during week 12 2011. The sentinel GP influenza-like illness (ILI) consultation rate was slightly increased compared to the rate reported during week 11 2011 but remains below baseline levels and is low in all age groups. No new outbreaks of influenza/ILI have been reported since week 5 2011.
